Your data stays yours
Ploisy is built around a simple principle: Your financial data should never leave your device. Unlike most personal finance tools, Ploisy does not collect, store, or process your financial information on external servers.
No data collection
Ploisy does not collect personal or financial data. No transaction data is sent anywhere. No bank information is stored externally. No usage tracking of your financial activity. Everything you import stays on your device.
No accounts, no identifiers
You can use Ploisy without creating an account. No email required. No personal identifiers. No user profiles. There is no centralized system linking data to you.
Fully local processing
All data processing happens locally on your machine. This includes: Parsing bank statements, Detecting subscriptions, Analyzing transactions, Building your financial timeline. No background uploads. No hidden sync.
No third-party access
Ploisy does not integrate with external financial APIs or services. No bank connections. No third-party data sharing. No external processors handling your transactions. Your data is never exposed outside your device.
Offline by default
Ploisy works without an internet connection. This ensures your financial data is not transmitted unintentionally. You remain in full control at all times.
What Ploisy may access
Ploisy only accesses data you explicitly provide: Files you import (CSV, XLS), Local storage to save your data. No other system access is required.
Security by design
By avoiding cloud storage and external processing, Ploisy reduces common risks: Data breaches, Unauthorized access, Leaks from third-party services. Your financial information remains isolated and protected.
Your responsibility
Since your data is stored locally, you are responsible for: Securing your device, Managing backups if needed, Protecting access to your system. Ploisy does not maintain copies of your data.
Network access
Ploisy is local-first: all of your financial data (transactions, accounts, imported files, and analysis) stays on your device and is never uploaded or sent to any external servers. The app may make a few non-financial network requests, such as checking/downloading updates from downloads.ploisy.com, redeeming or validating licenses with api.ploisy.com (sending a license key and a technical device identifier), and opening support/feedback links—none of which includes your financial information.
Updates to this policy
This privacy approach is fundamental to how Ploisy works. If changes are made, they will continue to respect the principle of local-first data ownership.
